Isn’t this beautiful?

Mom will be remembered as a gracious, gentle, wise and kind person. She was always concerned about the happiness and well-being of others.

When I first met met her, I was so struck by her qualities that I said to myself,”If Jo (her daughter) is anything like her, then I would like to marry her.” And I did.

We shared one interest, watching the national news in the evening. That was perhaps the only time of the day when she did not like to be disturbed. The rest of her time she seemed to live for others.

It was always a pleasure to have discussions with her. I will never forget her remark in one of our discussions, “God works through people.” And Mom was certainly one of God’s chosen workers.

Mom was God’s grace in our lives. We will cherish her life and love.

Thanks Ravi. As you know Mom was thrilled to have her world enlarged by you. As are we all.
