And now for the ladies . . .

After last week’s site visit with a pack of excited, energetic little boys (which left us exhausted and questioning our own common sense), we visited again, but this time with a group of grownup young women.

Four young women, all wearing hard hats, stand in a building site. 3 are looking out a window; 1 is smiling at the camera

Most of these girls have been students at Latika for years: they know what’s what. They have visited schools, theatres, malls, shops, museums, libraries, parks and forests. Unlike the little boys, who are still getting used to the big wide world and their place in it, our young women are mature and experienced enough to know what is appropriate and when.

The tour with the boys was a lesson in chaos theory; with the girls it was answering intelligent questions about spaces, facilities and possibilities.

But let’s be real. They had a lot of fun too!
