Author Q&A

Q: What drew you to Moy Moy’s story, and why did you feel it needed to be told now?

SS: I’m drawn to true-life stories that deserve the spotlight. Jo and Ravi’s life, the circle of love around Moy Moy, and Latika, the joy-filled organization for disabled children that Jo built, clearly fall into that category of hidden gems. There is beauty, nation-building, empowerment, hard work and much more. How could I not write this book?!
