What We Do

Acquiring essential skills instils self-confidence and hope in the future as disabled teens and young adults begin to contribute to society and live with purpose.

Our hope is that enabling our trainees with essential skills will set them on a path to meaningful employment.

Vocational Skills

Vocational Skills

We offer activity-based sessions on cooking and housekeeping, teacher assistance skills, shopkeeper assistance skills, gardening, and more.

Life Skills

Life Skills

Our curriculum is focused on confidence-building and teaches essential life skills necessary for any individual to integrate well in society. Personal hygiene and grooming, social skills and appropriate sexual behavior are some of our focus areas. We also guide the trainees on making friends, workplace manners, handling money, negotiating public transport and more to make them confident citizens as they go out into the world.

Routine Chores

Routine Chores

Our trainees perform everyday chores to build independence and get an experience of the
‘real world’. They shop at the market, email and message friends, write and post letters
and prepare meals, just like anyone else.

Social Activities

Social Activities

We encourage trainees to visit neighbors, make phone calls, go to restaurants, attend concerts and films and participate on social networking sites. All of these socially-oriented activities help them build confidence.

Aptitude Assessment

Aptitude Assessment

Our staff members help trainees assess their aptitudes and interests to make a career choice that’s aligned with their abilities and preferences.

In-house Placements
