A lovely Saturday gone by in Secunderabad as Our Sacred Space filled with friends, well-wishers, and students from around the world gathered for a discussion on Moy Moy’s Circle: A True Story of Love, Disability and the World We Can Build Together. Written by Suchitra Shenoy, Moy Moy’s Circle – our book! — is inspired by our own story of inclusion, born in Dehradun.

The discussion was moderated by Dr Madhumeeta Sinha from the English and Foreign Languages University, and featured Jo Chopra, Moy Moy’s mother and eventually our Founder, in conversation with Suchitra.
Attendees at the packed event described it as “an elegant event” and “a wonderful reading intertwined with intriguing questions and apt explanations from the panelists.” One guest summed it up saying: “Suchitra and Jo’s answers were so deep and thought-provoking, they made every questioner feel included and intelligent.”

By the end of the evening, 35 copies of Moy Moy’s Circle had found new homes, taking a piece of our long, sometimes difficult, often extraordinary road far beyond our walls in Dehradun.
Thank you, Hyderabad, for the affection, enthusiasm, and conversation. You helped expand Moy Moy’s circle a little further.
