Ashish Rangari, Project Manager Extraordinaire

This Guy.

We first met Ashish Rangari, Senior Project Manager at our building site the day we broke ground in March, 2023. Though employed and assigned to our site by Cushman & Wakefield, he became an integral part of our team and oh! how we loved working with him.

Today, so sadly for us, was his last day in Dehradun and we wish him well as he begins a new project for C&W in NOIDA. But I can’t miss the chance to sing his praises here because, really, he’s just the best.

Managing a building project is complex and demanding. Ashish stayed on top of everything that goes into construction: managing the work team, safety, supply chains, quality control and a thousand other factors. He dealt with budgets, cash flow, permissions and government regulations. But more than any of that, he dealt with US as we changed the drawings, asked for walls to be torn down and others to be added, brought an endless stream of visitors to the site and turned up ourselves with no notice.

Ashish was always gracious, always smiling, always ready. Nothing fazed him: no request was too crazy, no change was too much trouble. We learned so much from him about commitment, planning, energy, kindness and grace. He made us laugh, he asked great questions and he understood intuitively why the building means so much to us. He made our dream his own. Everybody at Latika knew him and loved him. We are going to miss him so much.
