An Independence Day Girl Celebrates Rakhi

Latika Vihar celebrated Rakhi and Independence Day in a joint celebration on August 12.

The girls dutifully tied handmade rakhis on the boys, who promised their lifelong protection in return.

Or perhaps not. Our boys seemed more interested in the laddoos that came with the rakhis than in defending their sisters.

Given the scanty protection on offer, some girls seemed to be considering their options:

Hmmm . . .
