Shy, smiling eyes and busy hands deftly creating original, arresting designs out of dried flowers – that’s the first impression. Saraswati learned flower-pasting after she joined Asha Kiran (a former LRF project) in 1997. She enjoyed what she did and loved coming to work, though she was also happy to create her cards from her home when there was a large order that needs to filled in a hurry.

Her husband works as a security guard at Sela Qui and the couple has a son and three daughters. They were very keen on their son joining the army, but unfortunately, an injury made it impossible. Their eldest daughter is studying in college and wants to make a career in the Indian Police Services. Saraswati loves watching comedy shows on TV.
