Diya is a Speech and Language Pathologist and Audiologist who completed her Bachelor’s from the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine Education and Research, Chandigarh, with distinction. With a particular interest in childhood communication disorders, pervasive developmental disorders and adult language disorders, she has spent over 1000 hours with children with speech and language deficits such as autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, and cerebral palsy, and seen over 100 patients with language and neuro-motor disorders. Diya has co-authored papers presented at ISHACON, 2O20, and published for the International Journal of Phono Surgery and Laryngology.
When she isn’t working, she enjoys reading and is always on the lookout for new research, related or not to her field.
