America

mother-daughter.JPGvk.JPG

I love arriving in America – especially when I am “received” at the airport by family. Ravi’s sister and brother were there to meet me when I arrived at the ungodly hour of midnight, and it was cold and raining too! We didn’t get home until after two – Nutan promptly fixed me a huge bowl of grilled asparagus with a side plate of spicy hummus and tortilla chips. Fabulous!

So good to be here! And the weather, so far, has been amazing: pure spring. Forsythia, daffodils, tulips and crocuses; bright sunshine and crisp cool breezes. But it’s the warmth of the welcome that is what will remain.
