This is exciting news!

Two weeks ago, we set out on an ambitious schedule to train 200 Associate Nurse Midwives in five different districts of Uttarakhand. The goal for the sessions is to train ANMs to identify children with special needs and refer them to Gubbara for an assessment.

Success!

We just got our first referral from the Nanital district, a child identified immediately after the training and sent to Gubbara by an eager ANM with her own signed referral note.
