We’re proud to attract a diverse set of people from all walks of life and from all over the world as volunteers and interns. Our painstakingly designed programs enable them to contribute in fresh, exciting and meaningful ways so that the benefits to them far outweigh their investment of time and effort.
Samantha volunteered as a fundraiser (also donated a LOT). She’s American, has three kids and is quite amazing and entrepreneurial.
Claire volunteered at CVT. She’s from France and I remember she was wonderful but I can’t recall much else. Shivani or Sunita Bhatt might remember more.
Jessie also at CVT. American student, she set up a baking program and was crazy popular with staff and students
Yvonne worked at the resource center and at LV - from the UK, a friend of Rachel’s. Did some amazing work but I can’t recall what, exactly! Sumita might remember.
Anne was a retired speech therapist, worked with our communications team over many years. Now 83, still in touch, very active and engaged.
Angie taught our staff English as a second language; Edmund did photographs we still use (the BOX!) as well as designing our website back in 2007.
