Mamta, returned to her hometown of Dehradun after completing her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from London and Masters in Clinical Psychology from the Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Science, Allahabad.

She has been associated with Latika Roy Foundation since 2015. As a psychologist at the Child Development Centre, she provides intensive counseling to both staff and parents. She believes that an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is imperative for every child, along with an Individual Behaviour Plan to be able to work with a child in the best possible way. She loves kids and helping them gives her immense satisfaction.
