Nirmala is the Communication Specialist who works across the foundation supporting staff and children in developing innovative solutions to deal the communication needs of the children. A talented and natural teacher, she joined the Foundation in 1999 and has been a strong pillar for the Foundation. She has good command over – Hindi, English, Garhwali, French & Sign Language and uses this with great aplomb in all her interactions across the centres

She feels that working with children at EIC takes her back to childhood; work is fun, and her “child within” is thriving, as are the children in her care.
