Are you a pediatrician passionate about child development? The Latika-Adhyan Foundation Fellowship in Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics is now open for applications by pediatricians under 40, from any recognized institution in India.

This fellowship offers an incredible learning experience based in Latika’s clinical settings in Dehradun, where you will work with a diverse team of therapists, psychologists, and special educators, all dedicated to supporting the development of 150 children and their families.

The fellowship’s remote mentorship comes from Dr. Ajay Sharma (FRCP, DCH, MSc), a renowned neurodevelopmental pediatrician with a wealth of experience that includes serving as the Clinical Director of Community Children’s Services at Evelina Children’s Hospital, London, and developing EmPOWER, a strengths-based early intervention program for children with autism.

What the Fellowship Offers

  • Hands-on clinical experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, based in Dehradun.
  • Remote mentorship from Dr Ajay Sharma, a leader in the field of neurodevelopmental pediatrics.
  • Weekly observership at AIIMS, Rishikesh, providing exposure to a variety of cases.
  • Supervision and guidance from top organizations such as Ummeed Child Development Center (Mumbai) and Sethu Centre for Child Development and Family Guidance (Goa).
  • A chance to join a network of developmental professionals across India and beyond.

Duration and Stipend

  • The fellowship is for one year, with the possibility of extending to two years.
  • Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 in the first year, increasing to Rs 1 lakh in the second year.

Preference will be given to candidates who are excited about the possibility of continuing their work with Latika after the fellowship.
