Admission to Gubbara
Admission Age Group: Admission is open throughout the year for children between 0 to 6 years of age.

Admission Process:  Directly or through referral.

On the first visit to the centre, we register the child and take basic information concerning her and her family. A brief checkup is done by one of the professional team and a date is given for an assessment week.

Families must arrive at 9 AM on the Monday of the assessment week. The day runs until 4 PM; families must attend each of the five days of the assessment week.

Tea and milk are provided, but families must bring their own food for themselves and their child. They should also bring nappies and a change of clothes for the child each day.

After the assessment week, Dehradun children may be placed at the Mama EIC or Karuna Vihar as space allows. Children from other areas are given a Home Management Program to follow.

Office Timing: Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; Saturdays 9 – 1 for information only

Fee Structure: There is a Rs 12 registration charge, payable at the Doon Hospital Registration Counter.
