Our pilot project to follow up on children whom we assessed at Gubbara is nearing completion. A vital part of the program is training a group of ASHA workers who in turn are training the ASHAs they supervise.

Yesterday, 18 of them came to the Resource Centre for a session.

Next up: Home Visits!

One staff member will tag along as these women visit families in their communities, checking on the progress their children have made since assessment and helping guide them to the next level.

It’s a lot more complicated than it seemed when we were writing the proposal, but we are learning as we go and fine-tuning all the time.

By little and by little, we believe we will get there . . .
