The Latika Roy Foundation is currently looking for a responsible, outgoing, and caring pediatric Speech and Language Therapist. Located in beautiful Dehradun, Uttarakhand, our foundation works with children with assorted disabilities. We are looking for a caring Speech therapist who will use activity-based programs to help our children develop the necessary communication skills. Working with a dynamic staff and children aged 3 months to 22 years, applicants should be dedicated, optimistic, and flexible.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing social skills training and speech-language therapy for children with developmental delays or communication disorders
• Conducting oral motor and feeding therapies
• Assessing, training, and programming augmentative communication
• Planning activities for classroom and home use
• Offering assistance with curriculum modifications in the classroom and physical education, recommending environmental adaptation, and doing equipment evaluations
• Doing therapy evaluations and re-evaluations using required assessment and testing materials
• Creating daily progress reports and therapy notes, along with any other required documentation
• Consulting with parents, physicians, and special education personnel, and offering training as necessary
• Attending required meetings
• Offering individual and group therapy approaches
• Working with the multidisciplinary team to locate, identify, and provide therapy services to children with developmental delays or disabilities
